Yahoo's Purchase Company Social TV Applications
CALIFORNIA - Yahoo bought a company maker yanng application enables users to share information on a television show.
Purchase this company called IntoNow is part of Yahoo's effort to provide more services to share information. Yahoo tries are making users feel more at home on their sites rather than on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Similarly, as quoted by USA Today, Tuesday (26/04/2011).
IntoNow also allows users to identify their favorite TV ads, a feature that may be used Yahoo to sell more advertising.
Although Yahoo is still on top surfing destination on the internet, but its ad growth is not as good as its ranking.
IntoNow, based in Palo Alto, California, has seven employees. Companies who were aged 3 months is run by Adam solving, who previously worked at Google and MTV.
The purchase is likely to strengthen services to Yahoo users. Although still going to compete hard with popular sites like Facebook and Twitter.
