A number of photos released by NASA-related Earth Day 22 April and then show the other side of the beauty of planet Earth as seen from space. Most of these pictures were taken with the technology, Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) mounted on NASA's Terra satellite.
